Modern and clean
Location, no cafès or restaurants nearby. Only good option is hop on hop off bus that costs 100php a ride or has 1/2/3 days unlimited rides options, last ride at 9pm. E-trike will ask private ride price fare of 300php to come to pick you up, the resort is on a private road inside the Newcoast development. E-trike will also be difficult to deal with when going back as they will want to leave at the gate, which is a 2 minutes ride and not a nice walk you want to do.
Internet never worked during our 3 nights (minimum stay). Maybe now is fixed, check with the property.
If you care about warm ambient lights, avoid! At night it feels like a hospital.
If you stay for more than 3 nights, or you finish the toilet paper provided on arrival you will need to buy toilet paper, it’s not a hotel.
The Apartment itself is modern and clean, you could be anywhere. Zero island vibes if you are on holiday. It’s also very cheaply furnished. Bed sheets and pillow covers are polyester, you’ll see sparks from high electrostatic charge.
The apartment is also very very hot during the day, the balcony is small and right in direct Sun.
Air conditioning is the cheap square noisy type that will keep you awake at night.
We had to remove ourself the plastic cover that was on the mattress. Had also to sleep on it for one night as host didn’t answer the message where we asked if it was ok to remove.
If you are planning on renting a mororbike, they are expensive in Boracay.
Apparently we were the first guests there, so… what about the reviews before our stay?
In all honesty we could not wait to leave. But if you are ok with the limitations of this place, it might work for you.
