Lovely modern, but cozy lodge. Everything you need with the bonus of a nice hot tub. Ideal for dogs and children massive big private field at the front of the lodges where you can see lots of wildlife and play for hours. Host June and her daughter were exceptional we had an issue when we arrived due to the storm and yet they visited and provided all that we needed and checked up on us. Can’t wait to go back 100% recommend!!

Amazing location for watching wildlife and really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The property had everything we needed and the hosts went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Love Dornoch and we are planning to return next year. Great Deli in the town, fab seafood and amazing beach and forest walks. Loved it!
If I'd known beforehand how difficult it is to burn wood in a chiminea.

Lovely private location with great views out the back windows. Well equipped with everything we needed, and the welcome ‘pack’ of crisps, shortbread, tea bags and milk was a nice touch. Good showers. The entry instructions were clear and we were allowed to go in earlier, which was much appreciated. We were only there 2 nights, so didn’t use the TV, cooker, hot tub or BBQ, so can’t comment on those.
The main criticism we had (and quite an important one) was how uncomfortable the mattresses are, especially in the main bedroom (with en suite). The springs made so much noise every time you turned over that it was hard to sleep. Other guests have made the same comments previously, but nothing seems to have been done to rectify it.
Also, the front door sticks badly, so was very difficult to open.

Amazing accommodation with brilliant views across fields and wooded areas. Spotted birds of prey and deer whilst sitting in the living area. Lovely decor and all the kitchen facilities that I required. Often in self catering places there is limited kitchen supplies, coffee and tea.......not here the hosts were very generous with washing supplies and coffee pods. Nice additionsal gestures of shorties, crisps, milk and ice. Hot tub was also amazing.
