The rooms are clean and spacious, and the kitchen is well-equipped, a little market is on the same street. It's a quiet place, except for one room that faces the street.. This is a very good starting point for trips to both the western and eastern parts of the island.

there is a park about 5 min walk, sooooooo many bunnies. You can buy carrots across the street at the little market, walk towards the water, the park is on the other side of the round about.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at Casa Cecilia Meireles.
Our Airbnb reservation was cancelled and we needed to find something the same afternoon. Once we booked here, the communication was instantaneous, clear, and friendly. We had no issues finding the property and entering, and when we did, we found a luxurious, clean, and comfortable home for our stay in Ponta Delgada.
The house is really top-spec inside, with lovely bedrooms and very new bathrooms and kitchen. A big selling point is the small garden, which has a covered table for eating meals (we did breakfast and dinner) and some astroturf for enjoying the sun.
We had a car, so it wasn't an issue that the property is slightly outside of the city centre. We parked on the street (rather than in the garage), which also caused us no problems. And when we wanted to visit restaurants in the evening, it was often a pleasant walk into town (although admittedly we did take taxis back - who wants to walk late in the evening after a big meal!).
The only feedback I would give to the owners would be to ensure cooking basics like oil are available - especially as the kitchen is so gorgeous!
All in all, we're really pleased that our Airbnb booking fell through so we were able to stay here.

Good house.
Bad communication. Dont show the house to the guests, dont give a receive, dont offer to use the garage . Only cash payment without a receive. Bad personality.
