A beautifully maintained and spotless cottage in a perfect Ironwood location. The home feels warm and welcoming, with thoughtful touches throughout. Just minutes from the Lake Superior shoreline, it’s ideal for rock hunting—exactly as the name promises. A peaceful and convenient base for exploring the area.

Donna was super nice to chat with and very helpful. She even has a UV flashlight in the house for your use if you want to search for Yooperlites. The cabin is very cute, cozy and clean, with creative decor and she even has her craft lotions and yooperlites for sale on a shelf if you're not lucky enough to find your own! The house has pretty much all you need as far as towels, toilet paper, kleenex, utensils, pots and pans, spices, and even some dry goods such as noodles and rice if you forget something. She now has wifi and streaming tv too. Our phone signals were decent. The shower is quite small, but adequate. This house is a gem with a nice view of the lake and Little Girl's Point just a half mile down the road and Saxon Harbor only a few miles away. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to baseball while we watched the sunset over the lake and hummingbirds zoom by (we couldn't use the fire pit because of a burn ban, but I'm sure it's nice and relaxing when allowed). A great little getaway!
