The perfect South Lake Tahoe retreat for a couple or small family, located on the third floor of the Lakeland Village Resort Lodge. This lofted studio features an open-concept living space with a lofted bed above the living room, in-wall air cooling unit, cozy fireplace, breakfast balcony, and kitchen.
This home can host a maximum of 2 adults, 4 all together if children ages 13 and under are included; this applies 24/7. Comfortable sleeping and dining for a family of 4. There is parking for 1 car.
Lakeland Village lodge units are near the main road — you may notice some ambient noise, a worthwhile trade-off for proximity to activities. The unit has a wall-mounted air conditioning unit for summer and additional fans for comfort. Loft areas may feel warmer, but cooling solutions are in place.

I gave this condo 5 stars because it's exactly as described. There were no surprises. The check in was smooth. The communication was great. It's not the Ritz, but it was what we wanted.The Condo: Perfect for two people. Very clean, well stocked kitchen for cooking, with pots, pans, dishware, and utensils. There were a oouple of spices left in the cabinet but you should plan on getting or bringing your own. The living room furniture was comfortable. There is a wall unit A/C on the main floor, and a firepace. Also, the bathroom is on the main floor, not fancy, but adequate. Pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the shower. Pump dispensers of soap at each sink with an extra dish soap in the kitchen. Kitchen sink is a bit small. There is a diswasher. No laundry in the unit.The bedroom is in the loft. There is sink up there, but no toilet. The bed was comfortable. The loft was a little warm at times as the A/C is on the main floor. They provided 2 box fans, so I placed one at the bottom of the stairs to direct cool, main floor, air up. It worked fine.You can hear the road noise, but the A/C drowned out most of it. There are 2 chairs on the patio, we found them uncomfortable and not tall enough to see over the patio wall. I wish condo owners would use bar height chairs on the patios.All in all, a nice place to stay. It;s about a mile to Heavenly Village. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

A cutting board in the kitchen would have been a pleasure. Hot tube god bless not too hot. Shuttle to Heavenly ski area all 30 min.

Super clean, great grounds with access to a lovely beach and multiple pools, in a central location. The room itself, though also clean and a decent size with well-stocked kitchen, was very dark and oppressively hot in the loft. Despite cranking the AC to 62 degrees and running multiple fans in the loft itself, the loft would not cool down until about 10pm. This was with mild-warm weather so I can imagine it’s even worse in summer. The sofa bed was also not as advertised. It’s a sofa chaise where the sofa part extends out, but not all the rear pillows are removable so it was a super tight squeeze for my 10 yo and 8 yo to sleep on it. TLDR: ok for a 2-3 day stay but I would pick another unit at this location for a longer stay.
