I would give Amalfi Montemare Rooms 20 stars if I could!!! It is in the village of Pogerola, up in the mountains but just 20 mins by bus to Amalfi. The location is perfect if you want somewhere close to Amalfi but yet return to peace & quiet at night. There are also a few restaurants in Pogerola. The bus stop for Amalfi is very close to the apartment and the bus costs just €1.50. It could not be more convenient. I suggest you download the Unico Campania app for ease of buying tickets.
The apartment itself is modern, very beautiful, spotlessly clean and consists of a well-equipped bedroom & bathroom - plenty of towels & pillows, hairdryer, coffee machine & pods, fridge, kitchen utensils and a basket of snacks. It conveniently has USB and USB C sockets, as well as standard sockets. A very thoughtful gift was also left for us as I was celebrating my retirement. The view from the balcony and the terrace above the apartment is simply stunning!!!
Sara and Giorgia were in regular contact by Whatsapp with us, even before we arrived and throughout our stay. Giorgia met us at the apartment and both she and Sara made sure to give us plenty of information and advice about what to do and where to go while staying there. They could not have been more helpful.
While in Pogerola, I would also recommend walking the ancient stone pathway from the village down to Amalfi. This can be accessed behind Gerry’s Pub. It takes an hour, allowing for lots of photo stops, and is mostly in the shade. Not a strenuous walk at all but well worth doing.

Un soggiorno fantastico sotto ogni punto di vista! Posizione perfetta per chi cerca il giusto equilibrio tra la bellezza della Costiera e la tranquillità lontana dal caos turistico.

Vista Mozzafiato: La panoramica sul mare e sulle colline circostanti è semplicemente impagabile. Svegliarsi o godersi la sera da questa prospettiva rende il viaggio indimenticabile.
Ospitalità Calorosa: La gestione è fantastica: L'accoglienza di Alfonso è stata genuina, con ottimi consigli pratici su come muoversi in zona, dove mangiare e cosa visitare.
Camere e Pulizia: Ambienti estremamente puliti, curati nei dettagli, luminosi e dotati di tutti i comfort necessari per un relax totale.
Posizione Strategica: Pogerola offre un'atmosfera autentica e rilassata, con un'ottima offerta gastronomica locale, pur rimanendo ben collegata e a breve distanza dal centro di Amalfi con fermata dell'autobus vicino alla struttura.
Un punto di riferimento sicuro per chiunque desideri vivere la vera essenza della Costiera Amalfitana. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente!
