Posizione fantastica: in mezzo al nulla (perfetta per provare a vedere l’aurora), ma vicino alla città di Hella. Angolo cucina fornito di tutto il necessario (utensili vari, basici tipo sapone, microonde, macchina del caffè, ecc.). Utile anche la spazzola in doccia per togliere l’acqua in eccesso dal pavimento. Camera piuttosto spaziosa e già calda al nostro arrivo. Vista meravigliosa all’alba sulla campagna islandese
Piastre delle cucina non troppo potenti e finestra del bagno difettosa: entrava sempre uno spiffero di aria esterna fredda.

This was our favorite accommodation out of the 5 we stayed at, it exceeded our expectations. Perfectly sized cabin with everything you need; kitchenette, fridge & private bathroom. Very clean & comfortable. There are a lot of geese around which is a lovely sight, one day there was an entire swarm of wild geese flying by, there were so many of them they were like locusts lol. There are horse farms all around so if you're lucky you can see them from pretty up close. I loved the surroundings altogether, you can just stroll around the farms & watch the geese by the river. Unfortunately one day of our stay was during the big storm of October 2026 so we couldn't get out much, but it was kind of atmospheric to listen to the wind whooshing all around the cabin. Also I don't know what's up with Hella, but we got clear skies on both nights even though the whole country was supposed to be cloudy, and you can watch the aurora from the small window above the beds! Don't even need to get out of the cabin. Host was also lovely.

Privacy, excellent Wi-Fi, excellent temperature control, and large windows to view the northern lights if the skies are clear. Small but functional kitchen.
