We really enjoyed our stay. What stood out most was the exceptional service and responsiveness of the team — they genuinely go the extra mile. We were allowed to check in early and were very generously given a 3pm late check-out. Whenever we messaged Guest Relations, they responded almost immediately and sorted things out incredibly efficiently, even bringing a spare room key directly down to the beach for us.
The room itself was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and we loved the Byredo bathroom products. The laundry service was also amazingly quick — we needed a shirt washed and ironed at short notice before a wedding and they managed it in no time.
One particularly memorable example of the service was when we returned from a wedding in the middle of the night without enough cash for our taxi. The hotel simply paid the driver for us and added it to our room bill. It’s those little things that make a huge difference. The whole team were warm, accommodating and incredibly helpful throughout our stay
Only a few relatively minor points. We had particularly been looking forward to experiencing the hotel’s famous restaurant and chef, as well as Sips bar, but unfortunately both were closed during our stay. As it was towards the end of the season, the restaurants were operating with one unified menu, which became a little repetitive over several days and meant we didn’t quite get the full food and drink experience we had expected.
We also felt that the watersports and boat activities were very overpriced — not just the jet skis, but things like taking a motorboat as well. The prices felt difficult to justify, particularly given the overall positioning of the hotel.
That said, neither of these points took away from how much we enjoyed the stay overall, and the exceptional service more than made up for them.

The view and location.
The Wi-Fi was extremely poor and unreliable throughout my stay. The service was also horrendous, with staff being unhelpful and the overall level of service falling far below what I expected. This significantly affected my experience and made my stay very disappointing.
