Amazing property, meticulously maintained in the heart of Paris. A private oasis, this property is a unique and lovely Paris retreat. The owners of the property are truly gracious, and very responsive. They provide their guests with a comprehensive and extremely helpful Neighbourhood guide as well as a beautiful assortment of treats upon arrival.
There was nothing we did not like about the property. We would reiterate the owners notes that the spiral staircase is not for those with mobility issues and is not luggage friendly. Apart from the beautiful bed in the crypt bedroom and amazing spa bathroom, there is no furniture so unpacking is not an option. The bedroom offers no hanging spaces, dresser, tabletop or wardrobe so once installed in the crypt you will have to keep your clothes in your case!

Excellent central location, in a very touristy area though.
Sure you can avoid the tourists going up to Sorbonne area.
Also, especially the basement is beautiful
Very tight and limited comfort. You cannot use the interior much, the one and only window is basically a shop window where everyone can look in. Nothing to open.

This is such a unique property! The master bedroom and bathroom was like stepping into the ancient world. The location was amazing with much of the main attractions walkable.
The only difficulty we really had was the circular stairs to the master bedroom. Carry-on luggage will make it down fairly easily but anything larger will be tough to have downstairs.
