Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde in das kleine Häuschen verliebt und jede Minute darin genossen!
Das Häuschen liegt wunderbar in der Landschaft und ist super gepflegt und hat alles was man zum wohlfühlen braucht. Alles sehr sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet.
Vor allem die perfekt Unterkunft mit den tollen großen Fenster Nordlichter zu bestaunen!
Der Aufenthalt war ein einziger Genuss und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen / oder es uneingeschränkt (Stand heute - 01.09.2026) weiter empfehlen.
Die Heizung bzw. Klima ist eventuell etwas laut in der Nacht, wenn man am Ausziehbett schläft.

Das Gebäude + die Ausstattung kam mir noch sehr neu vor. Jedoch ohne TV. Küchenzeile war komplett ausgestattet. Man befindet sich auf dem Lande - mit auf dem Grundstück eines Viehbauern. Also sehr ruhig und ungestört.
Keine Geschäfte in der Nähe, also vorher mit Lebensmitteln eindecken.

I would give this guesthouse 11 stars if I could! It is absolutely amazing - one of the best places we stayed in Iceland! It is bright, clean, and spacious, and the rural setting is peaceful and stunning. We used it as a home base to explore the Myvatn area and Husavik. We loved having a separate kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living area. There were several times I said "I wonder if they have X?" and not only did the house have that item, it was in exactly the place I looked for it! The hosts did an amazing job setting up the house and thinking of everything their guests might need. It was a struggle to tear ourselves away from this little oasis to go exploring for the day! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
