Beautiful, spotlessly clean, a modern little private place to stay. We love the location, away from the main road, but close enough to Húsavík. The decoration, the setup of the apartment, and the view is perfect. The spacing of each apartment is just right. They're far enough for you to feel some privacy and the openness of the areas.

The position and views, the space inside cabin, the finish was high level, the cleanliness, the kitchen supplies
The lack of laundry facilities was really difficult - I’d read a question from a while back (2021!) that said they were building a laundry facility on site and assumed that had been done - my fault I should have checked but it would have been really useful

The location, the view, the surroundings
The interior is nice but getting old
The bedroom bed was comfortable
Hosts very nice and responsive
The bathroom was dirty (as shown on my pictures)
The bathroom window door was broken, but they fixed it quickly.
The couch was not comfortable at all to sleep on… so I would only recommend going there if you are a couple. If you have kids, they won’t sleep really well.
But the worst of all and most disappointing thing was the hot tub !!! It could be perfect but it was a nightmare and actually spoiled our stay…
What we like when we are in Iceland is get up early and jump in the hot tub straight away (or do the same after a long day hiking)… well… forget it there !!!!
The hot tub needs to be drained after each bath and it takes about 45 minutes to fill it again… and another 30 minutes to cool down because it’s above 42 degrees… it’s really dangerous for children.
our kid cried every morning because he couldn’t bath… we tried to leave a bit of cold water at the bottom to fill it faster but it didn’t work…
It’s really a shame because it’s so peaceful when you are soaking with birds around you…
