The place is very large. The pictures are accurate. The rooms are large and the one bathroom is as big as a bedroom. Very spacious accommodations. Full refrigerator and kitchen. There is also a washer and dryer. We didn't have time to use it but there is a very large deck from which you can see the harbor. The place is the full second floor of a building with one or two businesses on the bottom level. You enter from the side using a physical key that is in a key box. Inside is plenty of room at the bottom of the stairs to leave all shoes (there is the traditional long, Iceland shoe horn to use). Up the flight of stairs is a very modern, spacious home. We were there only one night but would have loved to stay longer. It is within sight of the harbor, whale tours, church, grocery stores, gas stations, whale museum and restaurants. We walked where we needed to go because it was so close. The bakery next door is excellent. And owned by the daughter of the apartment owner.
