We loved the beautiful views and the cozy atmosphere.
I had no problems with the steep steps but some people may have an issue.

Just amazing views from the picture windows in the lounge including watching a whale from the settee! Unusual and fun design, you are very private and incredibly quiet. The place is very comfortable if rather compact. The Nespresso machine was very welcome. Parking is easy just outside your door. The location is very convenient for Akureyri.
A microwave would be useful. The bathroom was rather cramped but not a major problem. The stairs are pretty steep so might not be suitable for someone with reduced mobility or very elderly.

The location and the view are absolutely breathtaking. The place is small but cozy, very well equipped, and clean.

Bedroom upstairs
The drain in the shower was not working properly and could not have a shower longer than a minute. If I did, the shower would overflow and flood the bathroom, so I had to have a number of showers around the 1 minute mark, then turn it off and wait for the water to be drained before I kept showering. A bit disappointing.
