About this house rental
This spacious and tastefully decorated lakefront property offers panoramic views Lake Michigan from virtually every room, giving you a front-row seat to the property's immaculate, private sandy beach that stretches 177 feet! After a day spent on our sugar-sand beach, enjoy evening cocktails at sunset on one of the lakefront patios. At dusk, retreat to the nearby screen-in patio, or enjoy conversations around our wood-burning firepit.
While this home is new to VRBO, it has been a successful vacation home for several years and has been enjoyed by Guests who have booked on alternative platforms. Inside, our home is newly renovated with the highest degree of finishes, and its open concept floorplan aligns perfectly for multi-generational family entertainment. Start your morning in our luxuriously designed kitchen which offers an array of state-of-the-art Miele appliances, including an oversized refrigerator/freezer, induction cooktop, warming drawer, and oven. The chef in the family will not be disappointed! For those who enjoy assisting in the kitchen, or simply enjoy sampling the chef's creations, an island with seating for six is the perfect place to be! For a more formal dining setting, the main level also includes a large dining table for eight and is adjoined to the home's main living room. This space includes a plush sectional sofa, several club chairs, and a double sliding door leading you to the main patio. Even better, ALL these spaces offer endless Lake Michigan views! Downstairs, another entertainment space is equipped with another large sectional sofa, fireplace and TV, perfect for a family movie night!
When it's time to retreat in the evening, you'll want to be the first one to select between our thoughtfully curated bedroom suites. On the main level, a king bedroom with lake views, a fireplace, and private ensuite bathroom will certainly not disappoint! The lower level hosts our second king bedroom suite, featuring lake views and a private ensuite bathroom. A queen bedroom is located on the top level of our home, which utilizes the home's common bathroom, along with the kid's suite on the lower level, which offers three full-over-full bunk beds. All of these spaces have been designed with your upmost comfort and privacy in mind!

We ask that Guests do not use the fireplace in the main living room, as it is for decorational purposes only. While the home can accommodate up to 12 guests, it is best suited for groups of 6 adults and 6 children. If you have questions on this, please let us know.

Total of 7 people stayed, but family stopped by in addition to them one Saturday. We had a to drive 15 minutes away to park due to the strict parking rules. The neighbors called the property owners and lied and said we had 20 people there and 9 cars. We did have Instacart delivery of groceries and a few people visit.We were a quite group but the property manager had to come get a head count and called me but I didn't answer right away because I'm on the beach and I can't hear my phone. I felt really disappointed by getting in trouble. Such a strange feeling to get interrogated for a few visitors. It was the afternoon and we were not even playing music just talking but no more then 12 total are allowed to be there. We had 15 because of family stopping by for a few hours.overall I took it well but it was dramatic. I felt very unwelcome. I get that you can't have an event, but do not have anyone stop by. I even told them ahead of time I am having people stop by but they aren't staying the night. The place was nice. I saw a fuzzy gray mouse on the stairs and the place has a ton fruit flys. But it has God like sunsets and tasteful decore.

Beautiful home, property, and beach. We had a wonderful weekend. Everything was clean and well equipped. The beach was stunning and quiet. There were a ton of stairs (85!) to get to the beach, which wasn’t a problem for our group, but is helpful to know. We loved the screened in porch, the kitchen was great for cooking, and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. Two primary suites made it comfortable for two families traveling together.

This was an amazing vacation! The house was a blessing. Very clean and website didn't disappoint. We'll be staying there again hopefully in the future. Thanks for a wonderful time.

We arrived to a gated community home and that was reassuring! The home itself was incredibly clean and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed!
Bring your own beach towels.
For our active family, the amount of stairs indoors and out was just fine, but it might be too much for someone with mobility issues.
Most of our time we had the beach mostly to ourselves and enjoyed long walks searching for beach glass and rocks. Swimming was enjoyable and the water is a great depth for children.
We spent a day in south haven, which is a very cute town with plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy!
The last day there was a renter right next to us who was smoking on their patio and beach so that took some enjoyment away, but not too much. The house next door seems to be a rental as well so you will have some neighbors, but the deck has nice privacy and you feel secluded amongst the trees. We had wished our stay could be extended, which is the sign of a great vacay! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who is ok with a little exercise to and from the beach. The home and views are lovely!
