Our room was spotlessly cleaned every day. The shower was good too.
The bed was only a small double which we struggled with. There wasn’t many plug sockets. The food was expensive for what it was. The chairs in the bar was rather uncomfortable.

The room was cosy and sufficient. Lovely grounds. The chicken and leek pie was the best I have ever tasted.. Excellent breakfast apart from black pudding.
Only one thing. Sloppy black pudding. Its needs to be crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. It was too fatty to be undercooked.

The destination was very peaceful in the middle of nowhere, accommodation was converted barns, very nicely done out

Lovely setting and old pub
The room we were allocated had a bed that was falling apart and the mattress was so soggy and uncomfortable. The room was dated and in need of a refurbishment. We complained and were moved to another room which was better
