There is nothing not to like about Whashton Springs Farmhouse B&B, and plenty to love!
Due to traffic we couldn't arrive by the 7pm check in deadline, but Jane rang and reassured us that as long as we got there safely all would be okay, and it was - more than okay! We were warmly welcomed then taken to our room which was in a lovely little courtyard and had everything we needed - including a fridge and microwave in the cupboard! The room and bed were very comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep. As the place was full we had breakfast a little later (normally between 8 and 9am, but we were asked to go down just after 9am, which suited us), however there was plenty of cereal and fruit left, and the full English was worth the stay in itself! I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble for the team.
In terms of the location the views and surrounding area was beautiful, while being just a few minutes drive out of Richmond itself, which again suited us perfectly.
While the initial information said cash payments only we were able to pay by BACS at check out, which all went smoothly.
Thank you so much for providing a haven after a hellish drive and for starting our holiday off so peacefully- we would definitely stay again!

Location with tranquil views over perfect English garden and mixed farming and wooded countryside exceeded expectations, as did our rooms. Breakfast was superbly cooked and presented and our hostess a joy.

Tricky mobile reception (no fault of the hosts).
Nobody there when we arrived so we couldn't shower before heading out for the evening as we had mistakenly only been provided with 1 towel between us (this was remedied - we left a note - while we were out).
