Beautiful as always sea and mountain views but unit 1 had zero recent repairs and had many hazards!

The sea View.

We have stayed at this property many times over the last 20 years and were aware that is an older style property but would have presumed that at least the missing curtain hooks would have been replaced and repaired from last visit which we wrote about in last review. The heat pump never worked and neither battery for remote, the unit would not work manually anyway. There was an extension cord which runs at back of main bed which had wires hanging out of plug with lose black insulation tape hanging.Disgusting old sponge scourer under kitchen sink which we threw away. The 70s dining chairs are very unsafe and have bent outwards and lose skinny chrome legs...accident again waiting to happen as with the electric plug.One of the kitchen wall socket buttons still broken from last visit is it on or off?.There is still no hot water or pressure in bathroom sink from last visit and kitchen sink not much better.Shower not cleaned properly and had someones long hairs stuck to the shower wall.When we arrived one of the front windows had a broken handle sat on window sill.The other heater unit by the front door came on but was woefully inadequate and not function properly.We had to get someone to come out with replacement heater.Could of done with some spare blankets for the bed.And as much as we love animals we were not impressed with our nightly visitor Mr Mouse. Such a shame the unit was not kept up together over the years and now we know why....from the billboard outside advertising the sale of the land the units sit on to be demolished in June and split into 4 plots for sale.Regardless it was extremely bad practice to let people book out the accomadation in its current unsafe state.If we had know of the continual neglect we would not have stayed.Dont believe owner ever read any reviews or took seriously.
