Moodlight in the bathroom! It's what stood out first, and proritized the apartment above every other option immediately. Perfect location close to the supermarket, beach, restaurants, and bus stop. Mop & bucket available on request. Proper size fridge. Comfortable bed. Two couches. Desk, bar, and shelves are sufficient for storage. There's space for your cosmetics on the windowsill for showering. Excellent water pressure. Illy coffee machine available with 4 capsules. Washing machine available with 6 laundry detergent pods. Despite being a ground floor apartment, there were no ants/bugs or safety concerns. Efficient, and not too loud air conditioning. Even though the hotel towels are not allowed to be taken out, If you also didn't bring your own beach towel, the landlord can lend you one. She lives nearby for queries in person, and very responsive on whatsapp. There was wine, water, biscuits, and nuts in the fridge as welcome package. I arrived late due to having to go to the police station because of an incident on the ferry, so she ordered me a lovely pizza as consolation. When I found out that the bus to Sarandë only accepts cash, I offered her 20 DKK for 200 ALL, but she didn't want it, and gave me 400 ALL extra on top of it. I said I'll spend it on fridge magnets, so she gave me a fridge magnet herself, and offered an aubergine stew goodbye meal that she was cooking that I had regrettably no time to accept. Never got so many gifts from a landlord before, haha 🥹😄🩵
No microwave, although it wasn't advertised either. Even though there are lighter and thicker blinds as well in the bedroom, they don't do much about keeping the room dark, so I advise eyemask for sleep. As it's a central location with beach parties nearby, you will need earplugs if you intend to sleep before midnight when the music stops with one minute of fireworks. There was a moldy smell in the lower kitchen cabinet and the bathroom cabinet. I wish there was an option for moodlight in the kitchen/living room too, as all lights are intense.

Everything was great, and our stay was amazing - we would definitely plan to stay here again in the future! The location is just a 2-minute walk from the beach, and all the necessary amenities and infrastructure are right nearby. Poda Beach is a really cool spot to swim and chill out. Special thanks to our host, who was ready to help throughout the day and provided everything we requested. We had all needed facilities in our apartment.
The only downside is the music from the beach, which lasts until midnight. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it. It’s not overly loud—since the nearest beach club is about 200 meters away—but if you're a light sleeper or prone to insomnia, it might make falling asleep difficult

We stayed here for 2 nights and the villa is located in the perfect location! It's a minute walk to all the popular beach clubs and also less than a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants. They have ample parking and the room was proper clean and comfortable.
However, I'd like to do a special mention to the staff, Claudia, and their generous hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our stay so special. They got us fresh Albanian borek for breakfast on our last day, gave us cute little fridge magnets and also a thoughtful goodie bag. It's very rare to see such kind hearted hosts these days and we're genuinely so happy with how well they treat their guests. Highly recommend Villa Murati to whoever visits Ksamil ❤️
