The cottage was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and there is a general store a short walk away if needed. The cottage contained everything needed in a holiday property. The parking area and outdoor dining space was an added extra.
It was very close to Cayton Bay.
The cottage was in Main Street and there was very little pavement on the road side. It was very warm in the cottage and opening the windows did not seem safe. (There were a number of fans in the property.)

Excellent accomodation in Cayton with Scarborough, Filey, Flamborough and Bridlington all within easy reach. John was an excellent host, replying to queries very promptly. There was everything we could possibly want provided in the cottage. It was beautifully presented with little touches which made it into a holiday home - not just basic accomodation. My grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage has everything you need for a great stay, spacious and clean. The location to bus routes very helpful for us as we don't drive. But also easy walking distance to the nearby holiday site and cayton beach. The pub literally across the road 'The Farrier' was great for our breakfast. Also great communication from the hosts. Would like to thank the owners, a lot of extra thought provided to people's stay. Would highly recommend staying here
