The location is excellent, just a mile walk from beautiful Cayton Bay which is fully dog friendly all year,has a wonderful cafe " The Salty Dog" and clean toilets. There is a good selection of local takeaways and a couple of pubs to choose from. Only 8 miles from Scarborough, a parking disc is provided, and if you don't fancy driving there is a regular bus service just a few yards away. The house was clean,designated parking behind it.
The kitchen was well equipped,and even a pint of milk in the fridge, some teabags and coffee and a cake in your welcome so no need to shop straight away. The living room was comfortable and the lovely covered veranda and garden furniture to be able to have breakfast alfresco or to watch the sun dip down over the countryside with a glass of your favourite tipple. The beds were super comfortable and bathroom and shower sufficient for our needs.
Nothing much really but being totally honest, a pouffe would have been useful as the leather sofas were quite shiny and I do like to put my feet up of an evening.
The road outside can be a little noisy at rush hour but quiet outside of that.
Notice that dogs aren't allowed upstairs should maybe have been clear in the booking details. But overall these are little things that have not effected our stay and we would stay there again.
