The well-appointed kitchen invites your culinary creativity, and the adjacent dining table sets the stage for delightful home-cooked meals. This beachside retreat promises both relaxation and convenience. Discover unparalleled convenience with this distinctive vacation home, strategically situated within the same building as two locally-owned gems that you won't want to miss! Fatty’s Eatery, a beloved Hatteras Island establishment, awaits just around the corner, offering a delectable array of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options alongside irresistible ice cream and homemade desserts. Immerse yourself in the rich history of the Outer Banks by strolling to the nearby Lost Colony Museum, conveniently accessible from Harbor House through the shared deck. Your vacation experience is seamlessly intertwined with local treasures! There is no shortage of activities nearby, making this the ideal vacation getaway! Climb the historic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, head to Cape Point for some world-renowned fishing, and explore Buxton Woods. Make sure to get a famous apple ugly from locals’ favorite Orange Blossom Bakery and Café, or have a meal at Diamond Shoals, Angelo’s Pizza, Lighthouse Sports Bar, or Buxton Munch, all less than a mile away. Grab all your groceries from Conner’s Supermarket, also conveniently located nearby. For soundside fun, including swimming, kiteboarding, kayaking, or sunset chasing, head north to the Haulover Day Use Area (also known as the Canadian Hole), less than 2 miles away. Updates for 2024 include new furnishings, new beds, and more. Harbor House is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes. Sheets and towels with bedmaking provided. Layout: Living area with open kitchen and dining area, bedroom with 2 queen beds, a sofa, TV, and a kitchenette, bedroom with a king bed and a twin bed, 2 full baths.
