This place was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's in a beautiful location. I needed to escape osaka to get some work done in a quiet space and it didn't disappoint. I even stayed an extra week. I had lots of video calls and the wifi was more than good enough. I'd also been sleeping on futons for weeks and this was the most comfortable yet. It's also easy to get to kyoto nara osaka etc using the cable car direct to the station theres a few nice eating spots near the hotel too but they're not always open. My double room was also bigger than apartments I had been staying in osaka for twice the price.
I didnt really dislike anything as I was prepared from reading other reviews but just be aware this is an older place (with the associated charm) so it is has limited noise insulation, is generally in a quiet area and can be a bit of a walk. Which i personally enjoyed.

とても清潔でした。
テレビもなく、とてもシンプルで静かに過ごすことができました。
敷布団がふかふかでとても熟睡。
お風呂は近くのやまと旅館の大浴場に入れたので、満足。

We came for the festival at the nearby temple, it was very well located for the temple, excellent location - friendly staff and old but very nice rooms - Showa style :)
Unfortunately there was no breakfast service due to the large festival we were told.
