The property was ok, but not as I expected. The only reason I booked this property was because we were attending a wedding less than two blocks away, so the location was good.
We had requested early check-in several times and even though we were told this property was not occupied for at least two weeks they still had to “inspect it “before allowing us to check in and we did not get check in details until a few minutes after 4 PM. We were receiving messages via text and email from Big Bear which was confusing. I thought this booking was through Booking.com only but there is a third-party that jumps in. My main concern was that there was no AC. It was very hot on the second floor most of the time and we were not made aware that these homes do not have AC they do not specify this in the description. We have never run into this issue before assuming that everywhere we stay always has AC. When booking a home out here in big Bear just fully read the description. This one did not even have a washer and dryer. We didn’t need it, but it would’ve been good to have just in case. We had a lot of other family members in big Bear for this trip and they all each had their own homes as well. However, most of them had a three bedroom and paid a little over $500 for the same trip days. I’m a little disappointed in how much we spent for this house.
