The location was great if you wanted to hike and visit the PA Grand Canyon We had 28 miles to travel back and forth to our reunion In Morris Fri night, Sat morn, Sat night, and Sun morning It was the only available motel every other hotel was booked We loved our king bed, very comfortable, room was nicely decorated (loved the lights) and very clean. The grounds were in great condition with picnic tables, grills, and firepit, and a pond. pedal boats were filled with green stagnant water - would not use them A light was on outside our room and motion detector lights came on so you could see to walk from the parking lot to your room I waited too long to book a room It was not the motel's fault that it was not conveniently located to where we were going to spend most of our time
no one was at the hotel when we arrived to check-in note on the office door gave phone #s to call went to voice mail with the first # recommended to call waited for a return call which did not happen, another couple arrived and we all tried the 2nd phone # & reached a person who told us how to get our key and what room we were in, office was open Sun morn when we checked out and was the only time we saw a person associated with the hotel NOT familiar with the way the tv worked took us a long time to find a "normal" channel to watch thought it was expensive

This motel is in a great location to Pine Creek trail areas
Booking a motel, you don’t expect for your room to actually be in an addition in the back of the building on the 2nd floor. I was traveling with my dog, which I made known prior to my arrival. The stairs to get up and down to the 2nd level have poor lighting and the parking lot/grass area has no lighting at all so taking my dog out at night in an unfamiliar area was not ideal. The room was very small, which was fine for what we needed but the door was an interior bedroom door that connected to a hallway that was shared with 3 other rooms. Our door did have 3 different locks on it, but it still made us feel uneasy. My dog could hear every little noise, and barked through out the night which is not her normal behavior. The room was clean and updated, but I was just not expecting the stairs/room set up. Staff were friendly.
