There were purple soap spots on and in the bathroom sink. On the left nightstand there was a really sticky area. The bed seemed to have hit the green wall so noticed two spots when I was getting into bed.

The Loxley is in a great location in Old City, close to many of the historical sights and lots of restaurants/ cafes. The unit is lovely, with big windows, a nice kitchen and sitting area, plus 2 bedrooms and a good sized bathroom with washer/ dryer. The beds are comfortable, the unit is very clean and nicely decorated.. It was easy to get the check in information and to enter both the building and the apartment. I highly recommend the Loxley!
The description should make it clearer that there are no windows in one bedroom and that the other bed is in the main living space (like a studio apartment). On weekend nights, there is street noise especially when the bars begin the close. The rear units are likely much quieter.

The location was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, and the check-in/check-out process was easy and smooth. Also, when we reported an issue of cleanliness (a dirty/dusty rug), the host in charge was very polite and responsive.
The cleanliness and state of the apartment/hotel was not the best... Most things were clean, but the living room carpet had dust balls and hair all over it. We ended up asking them if they could have someone come back to vacuum because our young children play on the floor there with their toys.
The other slight disappointment was that the walls were covered with scuff marks and smudges. The place really needs a fresh coat of paint throughout, because it felt sort of dingy.
