The setting is amazing. The layout of the apartment was nice. The bedroom and bath on one end and the living space, kitchen on the other end. We had 2 problems, and the hostess responded immediately. No dishwasher but we did not cook. We spent very little time in the apartment. LOVE the town of Ashland.

Very peaceful private location with amazing grounds. However, I didn't realize there would be a separate apartment above us ; so with wooden floors and early morning, it was loud because the people upstairs obviously had shoes on. We appreciated the no shoes rule but the floors were not clean. It was a nice, complete rental space that was easy to cook and be comfortable to stay at.Thanks for the stay

This is a lovely location. We stayed in the Rosakind carriage house. We had an faulty outlet in the bathroom whi h was replaced almost immediately aftdr I notifed the host. I has bo central heating bit plug ins work fine. Bring your socks or slippers. No shoes reqyested. One thing to know, we stayed 4 nights. All went well e xxept on Saturday night simeone stayed abive us who cane in at 2:40, then were very active in the bedroom for what seened like forever. You can definitely hear stuff like that. One very nice feature, beautiful grounds and ok to use the downstairs rooms in the chateau even if in the carriage house. Nice reading area and sunroom.
