The hotel was very nice. The location was perfect and staff so friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was nice, however, the buffet had a lot of bugs flying around and on the food.

I booked this hotel last minute by chance, seeing that it had good reviews. What a good decision! We arrived by train well before check in and were just going to drop our bags, but the person at the front desk said if we could wait a few minutes our room would be ready, which was very nice. The room was decent size and had everything you could need to be comfortable. Here are some nice touches I have not found in more expensive hotels:
-- a decent full size hairdryer, and a special dressing table with mirror and plug to dry my hair instead of awkwardly balancing around the bathroom sink
-- Plenty of plugs for electronics, all around the room
-- A motion activated night light when you go to the bathroom at night, and it's at feet level so doesn't shine in your face and wake you up
-- a delicious breakfast, included in the price, which featured so many delicious fresh items instead of greasy bacon and eggs.
-- free expresso in the lobby at any time, and between 2 to 3 they put out delicious sweets
The staff was also great. We asked for a recommendation for a quick day trip and a nearby local lake was recommended. It turned out to be the most enjoyable thing we did that day, and I never would have known about this lake, as it's the bigger ones further away that get online attention.
Lastly, excellent location. It was right across the street from the Sacher Hotel and you know they are going to have a good location. It was right by Mirabelle Gardens and the Lock Bridge, and Old Town was just across the bridge. There was also a bus stop right outside the door, and we were provided with a card for free bus rides during our stay.
I haven't been so pleased with a hotel in a long time!
No complaints at all.
