The apartment boasts a fantastic view, allowing us to enjoy both the Kiss Bridge show and the fireworks right from the balcony. The in-room facilities were functional and met our needs perfectly for our one-night stay. We were so impressed that we booked two rooms for four nights on our second trip to Sunset Town.
For the nightly rate paid across two rooms for four nights, reliable daily room cleaning was a reasonable expectation. However, this fundamental service was not standard. Upon check-in on March 14th, I specifically inquired about daily cleaning and was informed it would occur every three days or they could come on the following day.
The following day, March 15th, at 11:14 AM, we notified staff that we had left the rooms and requested a basic clean (towels, trash, disposables, and floor mopping, with no need for linen change). Despite their initial agreement, at 1:33 PM, we were informed of staff shortages and a postponement until the next day. This was particularly concerning given the presence of ants upon our arrival, even before any significant trash accumulation. The previous evening's empty instant noodle packaging and seasoning further exacerbated this issue, making timely cleaning crucial.
After further discussion, the room was finally cleaned at 4:00 PM, by which point ants were prevalent around the accumulated trash. We were then informed that we could take excess garbage to the nearby garbage room, a detail not mentioned previously.
While daily cleaning did occur for the remainder of our stay (though with occasional oversights), the initial lack of proactive and reliable service, coupled with the inconvenience and delay, felt unprofessional. This is particularly concerning for multi-night stays where consistent daily cleaning is a significant expectation and impacts the overall value and comfort.
