What a little gem in downtown Cairo. We stayed for four nights here and loved our stay. The staff are the friendliest people and were always happy to make us a tea or coffee, and the breakfasts were amazing and the food just kept coming! The falafel were especially good. The room was comfortable and well furnished, good air conditioning and a good shower, much needed after the long days in the heat! The entire experience felt like a home away from home.

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen um das alte Ägyptische Museum zu besuchen. Die Einrichtung und das Personal waren super! Es gibt einen gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsraum mit tollem Ausblick. Wir mussten früh morgens auschecken, das Personal hat uns unser Frühstück to Go mitgegeben, das war perfekt! Die direkte Umgebung hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, man fühlt sich in dem Viertel sehr sicher und wird nicht belästigt.
Leider gibt es kein Abendessen im Hotel, wegen der guten Lage kann man aber bedenkenlos durch die Straßen gehen und dort etwas ägyptisches zu essen finden. Wir waren zb Koshari essen.

Host was super friendly and informative. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Very clean. AC worked well. Nice balcony. Nice communal area.
Door lock was finicky. Street noise and morning prayer is loud in the apartment.

Lo staff estremamente disponibile e accogliente ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Le stanze erano pulite, seppur la pulizia non venga effettuata ogni giorno, ma è comprensibile essendo una struttura a gestione familiare.
La colazione il primo giorno è stata molto abbondante, gli altri giorni abbiamo chiesto la colazione anticipata per rispettare gli orari delle gite e ci hanno sempre preparato la colazione secondo le nostre richieste, chiaramente più semplice.
