La terrasse et l’emplacement sont incroyables. Vue mer, vue temple d’apollon, avec de l’ombre à chaque moment de la journée, coucher de soleil le soir… que demander de plus ? Très bien équipé en petite épicerie de base, lit et Clim ok, petite douche
Dommage que la machine à laver ne fonctionne pas bien, petite douche qui fuit et possible fourmis dans la cuisine

The property was excellently located and has good facilities. The air conditioning worked really well and the terrace was a lovely place to sit.
The stairs to bring large suitcases might be challenging for some, but it didn’t take away from our stay.

This was a well-located, very clean and functional apartment with a unique and spectacular view over Roman ruins from a large private terrace. Best of all, when we had a problem with water supply on a sunny Sunday afternoon when half of Sicily seemed to be enjoying Ortigia, the apartment owner turned up within 30 minutes of my request and within 2 hours we were placed within another lovely apartment. That sort of service and support is priceless on a holiday.
Take seriously the comments about stairs. There are quite a few and they are challenging if you are carrying a medium to large suitcase.

Ver nice host who gave us directions to a garage because the obvious one in Ortigia nowadays is extremely crowded. The apartment is spacious and has a very very nice terrace with a view in the direction of the remains of the temple and the market. We used it for some meals and you could also relax nicely there. We did not cook, but the kitchen was well equipped. Ortigia is a more expensive place, so it was not a cheap stay but a very nice one. The location is practically in the center so everything you might need is in close range. Also the market, which one can recommend for breakfast, is very close.
If you have heavy luggage you must be aware that you have to move it up over some stairs. We knew it and, of course, it was ok for us. So, this is just a reminder.
