The cottage's location was excellent being close to the village centre shops, rail and bus links.
The kitchen was clean and well equipped.
The bathroom, bedding and towels were all beautifully clean.
For me, the lack of maintenance let the property down. The outside walls needed repainting and the varnish on the window frames was flaking.
Interior walls were scuffed and the carpets ill fitting and marked.
The iron looked new, but i couldnt get it to work.

Lovely cottage and area. Didn’t want to leave.
The mattresses need replaced in the beds were slightly uncomfortable. And a doormat will be really good.

Cottontail Cottage is a lovely cottage with exposed wooden beams, comfy beds and good facilities. We had a great time exploring the lovely Lake district and it was great place to get to many places around the Lakes. The Local hill near the cottage is a great place to view the surrounding countryside and see sunrises and sunsets.
The cottage has good facilities'. it was good it had parking at the front which we managed to get onto.
