About this cottage rental

Tropical Paradise is located on a very secluded beach at the North end of Cat Island known as Shanna Bay. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful setting away from the fast paced hustle and bustle of the touristy locations, then this is the place for you. Our quaint beach house is located just steps from the waters edge. Offering a beautiful beach for walking, wonderful reefs for snorkeling, beautiful sunsets, and the most amazing stargazing while being lulled to sleep with the sounds of the waves rolling in. If you love beach walking you will have over 2 miles one way of sandy beaches to walk and swim along the way. If fishing is your thing you can fish off the shore line or go to Orange Creek for Bone Fishing less than 1/4 mile away. The islander are the friendliest people and will be glad to point you in the right direction for exploring. Cat Island is for those that have been to the tourist spots but now want to escape to a slower pace and just become part of the landscape and community. You will not find fast food or Starbucks on this island. Give the locals a chance to show you their hospitality and local cuisine. You will not be disappointed. Cat Island may not be the easiest island to get to but once you are here you will know it was well worth the trip. Come visit us at Cat Island and become part of the family.
