About this bed and breakfast
Make yourself at home in a quiet queen room with plenty of natural light, a private bath, and the kind of easy comfort that makes it tempting to stay a little longer than planned.
Inside, you’ll find a queen bed, smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a marble shower. Nothing fussy, nothing overdone. Just a welcoming room in a historic, character-filled Forest Grove home where you can actually relax.
In the morning, head downstairs for a fresh breakfast in the dining room, then decide what kind of day you’re having. Pacific University and downtown Forest Grove are easy to reach on foot, along with restaurants, shops, galleries, and the city park. If wine country is calling, you are obliged to answer! That will be easy as some of Oregon’s best-known vineyards and tasting rooms are a short drive away.
And when you’re done wandering, there’s always the wraparound porch or back deck. Oregon may contribute a little drizzle or chill. We’ll contribute the blanket.
Come for the university, the wineries, a weekend escape, or absolutely no reason beyond wanting a few days somewhere different. This is an easy place to settle in, slow down, and enjoy Forest Grove.

Marianne did a great job. Very helpful and pleasant. Cooked a lovely breakfast each day. Our room was large, with a great double sink and new marble shower. The bed was very comfortable. A note if the weather is really hot you might like to room on the opposite side of the house. Because this room gets the afternoon sun. Only suggestion to owner was a short banister at the top of the stairs for safety. Would definitely come back.

The host was very nice and friendly. She helped with luggage and served refreshments and food. Great conversation! My mom stayed here and really liked it. Her only complaint was that the lighting in the bathroom needed to be brighter and the mirror was too far away from the counter to see well when she was putting on her makeup. Maybe one of those makeup/shaving mirrors that attach to the side wall for close up viewing would be helpful. Beautiful turn-of-the-century home.

We were the very first guests to stay at the property and had a wonderful experience. The room was great and the food excellent. The house is within walking distance to restaurants , shopping and the university. If this is how they start, I can’t wait to see how they are when they hit a rhythm. Highly recommended!
