Disappointing
The location of the apartment was superb. Beachfront with lovely views from the balcony. The apartment was new and modern and the beds were very comfortable. Private parking and lift.
Unfortunately, picking up the keys was difficult as the offices are in a very dense location with difficulty parking. On entering the apartment we were all very disappointed. Instead of looking at the sea view, one of the reasons we chose it, we were drawn to a room full of big cockroaches, dead and alive. One of the toilets had clearly not been cleaned as there was a large feacis in the pan, even though it had the paper over the lid saying it had been sanitised. Dishwasher hadn’t been emptied and the floors were full of dust in the bedrooms. A representative of Interhome did visit after we contacted them and washed the floors, cleaned the toilets and took away the cockroaches. There was a cockroach trap in the apartment and they said it had been treated for cockroaches. He said the reason for the cockroaches was because of the close proximity to the sea. During our three week stay, we found over 40 more cockroaches. Every night they were moving around the bedrooms and every morning there were more in the lounge and other areas. We would have asked to be moved but my elderly mother was staying with us and we needed the facilities and the location. Once she got used to hearing the cockroaches moving around at night she was able to sleep better. It was a shame as the apartment itself could be lovely, it needs better cleaning and taking care of and the cockroach problem dealing with. Unfortunately I was unable to upload all the pictures of the cockroaches and lack of cleaning as this platform doesn’t allow photos to be added.

Kakkerlakken in de kamer meer dan 10 stuks, zowel levend als dood! Gebeld met Interhome en men deed niets! Mocht de volgende dag terugbellen en we moesten daar gaan slapen. Geen compensatie, geen excuses, geen begrip, walgelijk! Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt, niet voelen via Interhome.
