Great location. It was perfect for us as we attended a concert at the Highland Showgrounds one day and then used the park and ride to go to Edinburgh the next. Everything was within easy reach with a great countryside location. Property was clean and well proportioned.
The double bed mattress was not very comfortable although all the other beds were very comfortable.

La casa está reformada, es acogedora, con una buena cocina y las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y bonitas. Parking gratis en la puerta. Jardín para disfrutar
El propietario está atento de modo continuo, responde rápidamente
Lo único y nos llamó la atención es q no hay sillas para comer, mesa sí pero sillas no. O comes de pie o comes sentado en el sofá con la mesita auxiliar y con miedo a manchar los sofás
La ducha del piso superior está sin terminar de hacer, pero hay ducha en planta calle y no fue problema

This house is located in a quiet neighborhood of Edinburgh, in the small village of Roslin. It is fine for a short visit with a family. The house was well cleaned, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is small but adequate. The owner was quite responsive.
The main sitting room has a quite dusty smell - almost like someone had smoked in there a few years ago. We could not get the smell out by opening the windows, though that helped. The house furnishings are quite dated and miss a bit of atmosphere. The TV is also not in the best state anymore. The garden is in need of some maintenance to make it feel more welcoming. The house does not really have a space for dinner - there is a dinner table but it is in the kitchen which does not have a ton of space, so self catering is a bit hard with a family. The photos of the house are a bit flattering (as usual though - nothing egregious). This house would benefit from a thorough modernization.
