Fantastic location, within spitting distance of Kazurabashi itself, and with a few really nice restaurants, cafes and gift shops within walking distance. Below the bridge there's also a lovely spot for a swim. Get there in the morning before all the toursits turn up to have their photos taken on the bridge and you'll get the best of the place.
When booking this I was a bit wary as to what I mkight be getting. There's an option earby that used to be a school, and this place looks - from the pictures - like it might be an ex.... office building, or something. But, no, it's a pretty cool little guesthouse with a real "hiker's waystation" vibe, run by a lovely bloke who was full of useful information.
Lovely, big room, too.
There was a nice, big bathroom to use (as is par for the course in these places) but the bath itself wasn't in action, which was a shame. No big deal. It was pretty hot, after all.

Location is very convenient and the staff is very friendly and speaks English.
The walls are thin, and the neighboring room had a child making a lot of noise. The location is also in front of the main road, so the trucks and cars passing by during the night can be annoying. It’s not the guesthouse’s fault, but be aware that if you’re looking for a quiet stay, this place might not be the best option for you.
