There are plenty of places with a good view. What impressed me here was everything beyond the view.
First, the location is exceptional right on Shirokë's gravel beach and immediately next to the Drini Times kayak rental center. You step outside and you’re essentially already in the neighborhood.
The accommodation itself is unusually well finished. The rooms have a beautiful, modern aesthetic, but more importantly, nothing feels flimsy or thrown together. Everything looks and feels solid, new and properly built. The design is clean without becoming sterile, and there’s clearly been attention paid to the details.
Then there’s the family running the place. They are genuinely, almost disarmingly friendly. Not the overly polished hospitality you sometimes get in tourist properties much more the feeling that someone is happy to have you around. Within a short time, I felt less like a customer and more like someone who had simply become part of the neighborhood.
One detail I particularly appreciated: the owner runs a small shop within the accommodation, and the prices are essentially supermarket prices. No tourist markup, no feeling that convenience comes at a premium.
For me, that combination is what makes Lake View stand out: a fantastic location, excellent modern rooms, honest pricing and hospitality that feels genuinely personal. You can tell when a place is being run with pride, and this is one of those places.
My only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer. I genuinely wish I had booked a few more nights between the beautiful setting, excellent room and the incredibly welcoming family, it was one of those places where leaving felt premature.

Great location right in front of the lake and access across the road for a swim or aquatic activities. Good restaurants nearby (walking distance). Lovely and welcoming hosts. Very comfortable accommodation and necessary stuff available.
