This hotel was excellent. The staff was phenomenal. We stayed in a lot of hotels and I think this staff was the best group of people ever, they helped with everything and were sincerely nice with great attitudes. The rooms were clean and the water view was fabulous. The entire property was neat and clean. Breakfast was really good. Our week here was such a delight. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing, I never go wrong with the Opal collection of hotels and resorts. We stayed two nights and the only thing I regret is not booking all four nights on our vacation here. Cruise ship docking in front of resort is only negative.
I will definitely book again.

Very beautiful and clean place to stay. We had an ocean view room, and it was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Definitely worth the money to stay at this property. We did not use the pool, but we noticed a lot of guests enjoying it each day .The food at the on site restaurant was also very delicious. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a place to stay in Key West.

This was the 1st time I stayed at The Opal Key Resort. It was excellent! I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the resort itself. It is in a perfect location; I was very amazed how beautiful the grounds were well kept. Not a lot of noise which really doesn't bother me much. But it is placed where you are a block from Sunset pier, Sloppy Joes, Capt. Tony's, Hogs breath. That's just to name a few. The Margaritaville Cruise Camps right there. Docked in the Morning and gone by 6ish. As far as room rates, this was the least expensive of all the resorts, especially during Labor Day Weekend. For me, the most important thing was - they provide WATER! Yes, complementary. I didn't have to go to the store and get water. I didn't have a chance to hang at the pool, but it is a nice and clean area. The surroundings is like a lil community in itself. If you wish to go to an island, the ferry is $45.00 and it's right there. Oh, the breakfast was perfect each time! Wonderful resort to stay.
