The location was perfect for us, party of 9, the apartment was outdated but clean. We were able to drop off our luggage in the morning, but apartment was not completely cleaned, the trash were never taken out in the kitchen or bathrooms from prior visitors. We finally had to take it out ourselves 3 days later without any instructions or responsiveness from host. Suggestions to leave instructions on where to throw them out- it’s a different country with different rules. It being a bed and breakfast, we expected toiletries refilled for the 8 nights we booked for. Host stated it would be dropped off but never did. We don’t mind buying it but communicate. The bathrooms (all 5) are outdated and broken fixtures and shower heads. Overall we enjoyed our time in Italy. For the price we paid we just expected a bit more. But it’s a huge apartment for a big family. Just ask about amenities.

It was a little further away from the centre than was ideal (more my fault), but it was walkable to get into Rome centre and would have been quick to St Peters. The room itself was basic but fine and the available breakfast was fine. Good basic accommodation and would recommend to those who wanted to visit the Vatican
