Simple easy parking, convenient to uber to NYC. Only cons is traffic noise depending on which room you’re in, but it’s not too much of an issue.

My family stayed here (2 adults and 2 kids) in the 2 double bed room. Beautifully renovated room and bathroom. While this hotel is only 2 stars it is the perfect stay if you’re driving to NYC. The neighborhood is safe, the subway is walkable, and the parking is free. You can cut through the mall to get to/from the subway but the mall closes at 9 pm. You can easily walk around the mall for the same distance. Everything was super clean, no bugs as mentioned in previous reviews. Yes, it’s under construction but I also didn’t hear any construction noise. Surprisingly I didn’t hear much noise from passing cars. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the Holland Hotel for one night. I arrived on Sunday night and left Monday morning.
I was so relieved to find a hotel with free parking that was within walking distance of where I needed to catch a ferry monday morning to manhattan. The parking lot had lots of spaces and included an overflow lot. This hotel also has a patio, and although I didn't use it, anytime I was outside, someone was using it. The check-in process was easy, as was the check-out. The room itself was perfect for myself and it was also very clean!
The one thing to keep in mind if considering a stay here is that you will need earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I was right next to the stairway and anytime the door opened and shut, I heard it. I also could hear the traffic outside. This doesn't personally bother me, I always bring earplugs just in case, but I figured it's worth mentioning for those who want to stay here. Breakfast was okay. Mostly baked goods and cereal. I didn't have time to sit and eat so I didn't see everything they had.
Overall, this is a great place for someone who just needs a place to sleep and doesn't want to pay $50/night, or more, for parking. I will be staying here again in the future without a doubt in my mind!
