I had an issue with my room where the room they gave me was a lower grade and they did not say. I realised and challenged them. Emily was fantastic and organised the refund via Expedia and gave us a later check out. If that hadn’t happened this would have been a five star review.

The room was very difficult to find. The floors of the hotel were like a maze. You had to go to the second floor to come back up the corridor to get to the first floor. We got lost and took us a while to find the room. The receptionist did say it was confusing to find, so they are aware of it, would be helpful if they had someone to take you to your room as its not straight forward.
We were very excited to try out the restaurant, but the food was a little disappointing and didn’t live up to our expectations. The food at the club was much better.
The hours for the swimming pool was very convenient. The games on the lawn were entertaining and the grounds of the hotel were very pleasant.
We had the family room, which was very tight for a family with teenagers and the view was sooo disappointing as we only had shrubs to look at in such gorgeous grounds.
The parking is charged on a daily basis we didn’t quite understand why they charged for the parking as the hotel was on private grounds and the land was not shared. In our experience, hotels tend to charge when they are in city centres not out in the country. I had missed this when booking and it would have definitely deterred me had i have seen it before booking.
Staff were very approachable and helpful with a welcoming smile on their face all the time.
