Absolutely loved our stay. Convenient to Edinburgh (by car), great staff but what made our stay special was the property itself - absolutely beautiful... it's like being transported back in time. The setting is beautiful - so peaceful and the gorunds are beautiful.

Everything was perfect!! I had always wanted to stay in a Scottish castle and this one was perfect and just outside the city. We drove about 10 minutes to the train station with free parking and then it’s about a 10 minute train ride to Edinburgh. The rooms were very cute and spacious. The food was outstanding! We did afternoon tea with a view of the garden and could not have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful building and grounds, with plenty of place in the rooms and the house to just spread out and relax (Library, Music Room, bar...). Very friendly and helpful staff - we'll be happy to return...
