The ocean was visible from both our rooms. We did not cook, just made tea; but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped and we saw other guests cooking.
The bathroom was clean and had several showers, so we never had to wait
The hostel is very conveniently located in downtown Hilo.

Over all great. Wish there had cooler rooms, drinks for sale. Coin operated washer n dryer.
Loved the beds. Curtains and under bed lockers that could be locked.
We return on next trip to Hilo.
