It was a beautiful old Southern home. Our room was very poorly lighted and difficult to see things in the dim bathroom. The room had a musty odor also but was very clean. Our beds were comfortable and amenities were nice. Bed linens felt luxurious.
We were a bit disappointed in the included breakfast. It consisted of lukewarm scrambled eggs that tasted like powdered eggs. Some fresh fruit and a few pieces of danish as well as cold cereals and some breads for toasting. I expected something more homemade and southern in this space.
Overall it was a lovely setting with interesting furniture and decor. The staff was polite and friendly.

The atmosphere was very lovely, we did feel sorry for the plants and flowers they seemed to not get enough water.
