Blythewood plantation is a wonderful historic mansion set in a small quaint excellent town. Lloyd met all of our needs, the room was clean, and all furnishings were correct for the time period that the home was built. The grounds were well maintained, we even got the pleasure of witnessing a gorgeous wedding during our stay!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern times and take a trip to a much simpler day and time!!!!

Lloyd, the hotel staff member was helpful, friendly, but also respectfully of guest privacy. I called before my arrival because I was not sure if I could arrive around midnight based on my flight time. He was warm, stating "I was expecting your call" and he made me feel welcome and right at home. The bed was super comfortable. From the deer in the yard and being surrounded by tall trees, the place provided the right atmosphere for a relaxing, peaceful stay. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in recharging. The community has everything to offer of a city with a small town feel.
