This property was unique as it had a winery right on property with so many activities such as, line dancing. The food and drinks were excellent.
The house was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The property is large and beautifully kept. You can tell this is a special property for the owners.
Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive , I highly recommend this B&B whether it’s for a romantic getaway or any type of an event.

Breakfast was sparse, not a full continental. Door hardware is loose but everything locks tight and secure. Area was beautiful, though nearby highway was audible. Room clean but no closet space for hanging clothes. Loud wedding music lasted some hours into the night, if this disturbs you be sure to coordinate your stay dates with the innkeeper. Staff were nice as well as flexible. Informal check in/out process was hassle free and appreciated.
Not too much more expensive than hotels of similar rating in Frederick; if you are looking to add a piece of living history to your trip it would be worth your while to investigate this location. I enjoyed my stay.
