We enjoyed Cow Elk trotting past us to the Lake upon our arrival as we spoke with Aaron the onsite property manager.
Our rooms were rustic opening unto a deck where we comfortably enjoyed watching the Elk play in the water, graze and settle down in a cluster of trees before moving on.
Aaron could easily be a tour guide. His passion for the area is palpable. We followed his advice and were not disappointed by the routes, views and numerous elk that we encountered during our short stay.
We are looking forward to returning at some point in the future. Once you experience the area it’s hard not to want to see more.
What a place to unwind ;)
