We stayed at a warm and welcoming hotel in Colares, beautifully situated in the hills and surrounded by a charming village. The atmosphere felt genuinely homely and relaxed. The location is excellent, just a couple of kilometers from Sintra, and truly one of the best areas we’ve experienced in Portugal. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They even prepared a small breakfast bag for us when we had to leave early for our flight, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Everything felt calm, friendly, and inviting. We can only say good things about our stay and would happily return.
