We only stayed one night because of the price but we had a nice, pleasant stay. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The staff was professional and welcoming. The room was authentic and clean with tatami beds (comfortable), I also enjoyed the Japanese breakfast and the public bath ( I was the only one there). I recommend this place if the buget permits.

Loved it all! Especially the very kind and helpsome staff. Always kind and helpful from greeting you to waving goodbye. The Onsen was a very nice experience after a busy day in the city. The additional Kaiseki dinner was also a very interesting and memorable experience. Not everything was for westerners tastebuds, but it was perfectly made and a feast for the eyes! We highly recommend this Ryokan!
