I recently stayed at Merodi La Porta in Istanbul’s Galata neighborhood with my cousin, and we had such a wonderful experience. The location was one of the best parts of our stay — the hotel is very close to the Galata Tower and within walking distance to so many of the places we wanted to visit, explore, and eat around Istanbul. It made getting around the city really easy and enjoyable.
We also felt very safe throughout our stay, which was important to us as travelers. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we needed anything.
Another highlight was the breakfast that was included with our stay. It was absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh options every morning — honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Merodi La Porta to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in the Galata area.

Diabetes, the staff was very friendly and professional, and very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean. The restaurant was a great. And it was walkable distance to a lot of restaurants stuck a lot of tower even going across the phosphorus to the bazaars and mosques. It was such a great time and their communication was amazing.

You may not stay at the address you booked. We were travelling with another couple, booked at the same time, then placed at separate addresses. The breakfast site was beautiful on the roof. The location was close to Galata Tower.
